Rocket Campaigns Privacy Statement
Rocket Campaigns, Part of the Parfumado Group, processes personal data. We would like to inform you clearly and transparently about this. In this privacy statement we answer the most important questions about the processing of personal data by Rocket Campaigns. Do you have questions about this privacy statement? 1. Processing controller
Rocket Campaigns BV, is an independent online platform that users can sign up to receive personalized cosmetic samples from different parties. Privacy-sensitive data (hereinafter "personal data" or "data") is processed through our services. By processing we mean all the use of your personal data, such as storing, modifying, forwarding or (partially) removing this data. We process personal data because you use our online platform. Rocket Campaigns enables you to request product samples from your favourite brands. Rocket Campaigns is registered under the number 68443048. Our registered office is at Koningin Wilhelminaplein 8, 1062HK in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
When we refer to the "website", we mean the one that we host at www.rocketcampaign.com or any subdomains that we create and any software widgets that we install on external websites to deliver the Service. Anybody can access the Rocket Campaign website but in order to request a sample, you must accept these Terms as they are set out in this document.
2. Types of personal data
Rocket Campaigns processes the following personal data for the purposes stated in this privacy statement:
Data entered by you:
- Name, address and place of residence;
- Contact details such as a (mobile) telephone number and e-mail address;
- Quiz information; preferences in terms of fragrance & cosmetics (brands)
- Cosmetics related data; use of different cosmetics brands.
- Technical data (see also the cookie statement):
- Detailed (technical) data about the use of our website and service or apps, for example the device type and properties, browser type and language, date and time of the interaction and IP address; and
- With regard to the quiz data, we are aware of the sensitivity of this data and the possible impact it may have on your privacy. That is why we only process this data based on your consent and we treat this data with extra care.
3. Purposes for processing
We will use your data for the following purposes:
- Delivering the samples
To deliver the samples it is of course necessary to know your name, e-mail address, home address (and that you live in the Netherlands) and sometimes your telephone number. This way we can deliver your products and keep you informed of the status of your order on the way. We also provide this information to others where necessary; delivery services and our distribution center.
- Creating and maintaining your account
In your account on our website we store, among other things, your name, address (s), telephone number and e-mail address, but also the quiz details you have entered and interests in various cosmetic samples. We use this information to send you appropriate samples. We also save the information about your previously received samples so that you can easily find them again.
- You can also create an account by logging in with your Facebook account.
This gives Rocket Campaigns access to your first and last name, e-mail address, username, city, gender, date of birth and profile photo as registered on Facebook.
- Contact our customer service
You can email us and ask questions via Facebook Messenger. To help you quickly with questions, we use your data.
- For getting newsletters
When creating an account (at parfumado.com) you also sign up for our newsletter. This way you stay informed of offers, promotions and new developments. Every newsletter that you receive ultimately offers an opportunity to unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe.
- To be able to leave reviews
We are curious to hear what you think of the samples received, so please leave your reviews on the Rocket Campaigns / Parfumado website. For this we need your (user) name and e-mail address.
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations
This includes, for example, personal data that is required to be able to comply with our tax liability
- For analysis purposes
Rocket Campaigns uses the analysis tools to collect information about visitor behavior patterns. This tool registers page visits, mouse clicks, mouse movements and the scroll activity of visitors. The recordings are made anonymous; the tool does not show and use IP addresses.
- Finally, your data may in some cases be combined by us with data collected in the context of your use of our services or with information from external sources (such as information about cosmetic products).
We draw up a profile based on all this data so that we can be of better service to you and the content of these products and services to better match your interests.
- For marketing purposes
Send information about offers, promotions or promotions, via e-mail and by post.

4. Basis for processing
We process personal data because this is necessary for the performance of an agreement, namely to be able to perform our service and to be able to deliver the samples.
In addition, we process data because this must be on the basis of a legal obligation. For example, there is legislation that obliges us to keep data for a certain period of time, including the Tax Authorities.
We also process data because we ourselves have a legitimate interest in this, for example our corporate interests. In that case we will always make a thorough assessment of whether this interest is greater than your privacy interest.
Finally, we process data based on your permission, for example when we process special personal data (such as use of cosmetic brands) about you. We also inform and ask for your permission before we place and read cookies or before we send you (electronic) commercial messages. This permission can be withdrawn at any time.
5. Data for reviews
Rocket Campaigns collects reviews & ratings. Reviews help customers find what you are looking for. When writing your review you can indicate whether your profile should remain anonymous or whether we can share your first name, age and other specific things with others.
Because reviews are valuable for customers for a long time, we keep a review until you ask us to remove the review or until the moment that the review is removed by us based on the review conditions.
It may happen, if brands ask for it, that your review will also appear in the brand's webshop or another webshop platform (for example on Bol.com, Bazaarvoice, etc.)
6. Sharing data
For the processing of your personal data, we use third parties who have access to your data. These include, among other things, MailChimp (sending e-mail), our AI party (processing data to improve our quiz). See the cookie statement for the processing of technical data.
Where necessary, we oblige these third parties to act in the capacity of processors. This means that we determine the purpose and means for these processes and that the processor may only handle your data in accordance with our instructions and our (security) standards. We establish these agreements with every processor in a so-called processor agreement.
The Rocket Campaigns website may contain hyperlinks that allow you to leave the Rocket Campaigns website and end up on the website of a third party. Rocket Campaigns has no control over the services and / or websites of third parties that are linked to. It is therefore possible that a different privacy statement and / or conditions apply to the use of these services and / or third-party websites.
7. Storing data
We keep the personal data for as long as necessary and for as long as necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Your account information is stored as long as you use the Service. The moment you delete your account, the data will be deleted.
8. Data security
We do our utmost to protect the personal data as well as possible. We do this by taking organizational and technical security measures that, given the state of the art, try to prevent someone from gaining unauthorized access to the data, adjusting it, making it public, or ensuring that the data is lost.
If we use so-called processors, we oblige them to handle your data in accordance with our instructions and our (security) standards.
9. Rights of data subjects
You have the following rights:
- Information and inspection: We are happy to tell you which personal data has been recorded or what we use it for.
- Rectification: Do you want to have your personal data corrected or supplemented because they are incorrect and / or incomplete, adjust it in your personal account or let us know. Then we adjust it.
- Forgetting / Removal: You can also submit a request to us to have the information we have from you removed. Removal of data is not possible when the law requires us to store the relevant personal data.
- Restriction: You can restrict the processing of your data if you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully or incorrectly.
- Objection / Resistance: You can submit an objection for the processing of your data. If it concerns processing for direct marketing purposes, we will terminate that processing as soon as possible. If you no longer wish to receive direct mail, you can:

Are you younger than 16 years old? Then you may only provide personal data to Rocket Campaigns if your parents or legal representatives have read this privacy statement and have given permission for this. This only applies if permission is also the basis for the processing. Taking into account the available technology, we make reasonable efforts to check whether your parents or legal representatives have actually given permission.

We can change the privacy statement unilaterally. We therefore recommend that you regularly check this statement for changes. If we make major changes, we will notify you accordingly. For example, by placing a report on our website, by e-mail or by requesting permission again.
