Amber Gooijers

Amber is 50 years old and loves movies and good food. During the week she works as a financial administration assistant and she has a good knowledge of computers. Her personal fragrance profile is Oriental and Woody.

How long have you been a member of Parfumado?

"I think I have been a member for 2 years now."

What was the very first perfume you wore?

"My very first perfume was Alien, this is my all-time favorite!"

What makes Parfumado so much fun for you?

"Normally I had to be sure of a smell as buying a whole bottle is quite a costly experience. Often a perfume smells delicious, but the smell on the skin can be different. The fact that I can now try something out with ease, makes it extra fun for me!"

What does your filled-in perfume calendar looks like for the upcoming months?

"Alien by Thierry Mugler, Lady Million by Paco Rabanne and Classique by Jean Paul Gaultier."

Would you like to describe these 3 perfumes; What do you like about them, what do they smell like, when do you wear them?

Thierry Mugler - Alien

"When I wear this scent I often receive the question which perfume I am wearing, it smells that good! I find the scent difficult to describe. Woody and I know that it contains 'amber'. Perhaps that's why it is my ultimate match ;) I actually always wear this fragrance at every occasion."

Paco Rabanne - Lady Million

"A bit more subtle perfume, fresher, but still woody. I often wear this fragrance at work, because it is not overpowering and many people find it a pleasant scent."

Jean Paul Gaultier - Classique

"This fragrance has been around for some years, but remains of this time. Sweet, seductive and it lingers for a long time. When I go out at night this will be one of my favorites."

What is your 'Signature Perfume' and how did you find it?

"I think that it's quite obvious by now. My signature perfume is Alien by Thierry Mugler. Thanks to a friend I came into contact with the fragrance series of Thierry Mugler, and I have been sold completely since!"

What is your ultimate Parfumado pro tip?

"I know you should store perfumes in a cool, dark place. Normally I always did that with large bottles, but nowadays with the handy packaging of Parfumado they are in my bag. If they are in my closet then they're very easy to take with me. Thanks to the monthly supply, I don't have to worry that they are no longer good, because they don't get the chance. During the winter months I often spray a scent on my coat or scarf, so you can enjoy the scent even longer and my hallway always smells good when it hangs on the coat rack. Furthermore, I actually have no tips, just use it and enjoy variety!"
